I wrote several e mails to the manufacture and tried to get an answer on what I needed to extend the down rod for this fan. The only answer I got was " I could make it longer buying the length rod I needed. The down rods included were not long enough. I took a chance and ordered one ($70) in the size I needed and a non threaded rod. This one included is non threaded and not sold in any store I could find. My installer had to rebuild the mount and it took him two hours to make it work. There was no additional wiring that was included to adjust to the length. He had to cut and splice each wire to put it back together. It looks good and hopefully lasts. There also were no batteries for the remote.. Mmw. Tucson, AZ. Sun Nov 01 2026

Classic style at an unbeatable price, with reversible blades.

Beautiful fan! Easy to put together and install. Took my husband and I maybe an hour to take down the old one and get this one installed. Looks very nice and doesn’t rattle or make noise. Our ceiling is only 8 ft and the chains are a little long but you could easily cut them down if you wanted to. We put the fan in the guest room so didn’t bother.. Mp. Oklahoma City. Thu Oct 01 2026

Through its casual style and charming appearance, this will compliment your decor without overpowering it. Clean line details work together throughout the fan body, blade irons, and bowl light kit to create a coherent design with wide appeal. The blades work well for standard or large rooms, and the low-profile motor housing is a great choice for low ceilings or simply a more subtle appearance.

I finally got this fan/light up and it's really nice. Just the right size for my family room. It really circulates the fireplace heat. Thank you Wayfair!. Carol. Concord, CA. Mon Jul 27 2026

It's a beautiful fan! We bought two, one for our bedroom and one for a back room that does not get much air circulation. The glass dome is very pretty and filters the light nicely. Make sure you get smaller bulbs with lower watts, standard light bulbs do not fit within the dome and higher wattage bulbs (over 60w) produced rather harsh light. The fan is very quiet, we are able to sleep with the fan on all night. We also have high ceilings and the fan still does a very good job of circulating the air even on the lowest setting.. Stephanie.
