Both the directions and holes predrilled were fairly easy to assemble. Due to the size it came in 3 sections but once the first was assembled it went much faster. We are pleased with armoire as far as the way it looks but the lack of the 5th star in the rating was simply due to the material in the outer pieces. I love this item. The support team was super awesome. Whenever it arrived at the broken piece they provided a proper piece very quickly. I do not recommend putting this dresser together by yourself. I did and it was very hard. However, once it was altogether, it looks gorgeous. This armoire is really big, our master bedroom has enough space for it so it will come in handy! Make sure you have 2 persons building it, because there are a lot of pieces and could ger damaged if handled one person only. Mirror came broken while shipping got a new one as soon as possible but came cracked as well waiting on a replacement, Wayfair is pretty quick helping out with any issues.
