This is a beautiful rug! It came well packaged. When I opened it it didnt have that awful smell you usually get from rugs that are packaged from overseas. It comes with the anti-slip mat for underneath which is great but it is exactly the size of the rug so you have to be quite perfect with your placement or else it will show. Even though the colors of the rug are beautiful there is a lot of white and negative space which shows more dirt than I would like. This really is a beautiful rug, it does say that it’s washable but the size I got is way too large so I will not be able to wash it in a standard machine. It does have more white in it than I expected so if you have young children or pets, you may wanna put it somewhere where it’s off-limits to them. I put mine in the guest room, which is not used on a frequent basis and the door is shut, so the animals cannot get in the color combination is extremely appealing. When I learned that Rifle paper company did collaboration – I knew I was on board! The rug came rolled up very nicely in a thick plastic covering. You should be aware that it is ia floor covering, not plush, but perfect for a little softness. If you want it to be a little more cushioning under your feet, I would recommend buying a rug pad. The design is gorgeous. The colors are subtle but saturated. These muted tones will go nicely with the bed, dresser, and nightstands that are coming in the next few weeks.
