Be prepared for assembly. You'll need the following: spray dish soap for lubrication, a rubber mallet and a phillips-head screwdriver. Fortunately, it's only four screws, the rest is like putting together a Lego set. It just takes some serious pounding with the rubber mallet to get the pieces to go together, and I mean serious pounding. Just fair warning. The dish soap helps to get things going. There are many pros about this range hood. First, it’s heavy duty - far heavier and sturdier than my previous one. Second, it’s all metal, even the filters, and includes a grease trap, which is a big bonus feature. The fan levels are great and it’s much quieter than our previous hood but definitely powerful. So far we are loving this upgrade. We did not use the vent hose it came with but bought an all metal one at our local home store for better greasefire protection. I will say the directions are somewhat lacking, however, if the person installing it knows what they’re doing, it shouldn’t be a problem. Steps are ok for many uses. Putting them together was a bit tricky. The worst part was the tallest step to put together. Had to use a small flat screwdriver to pry open the metal to allow the step to go in place. Overall, it was not too bad to finish. Now the Part for me that is "Deceiving" is the description. To me "ROLLING" means they have castors/wheels. Nope none to be found. I had initially got these with the intent of rolling it around to paint & do other household chores. So for now dragging it on a moving blanket is my only answer, unless my husband is willing to drill holes in the legs somehow & put on wheels. Wish they had used a different description.. Cheryl.
