I have very poor lighting in my house and was thinking of installing recessed lighting, but then I found this, which is a much less expensive option. The lighting simulated the patterns of the sky, including sunrise and cloudy days. The remote is easy to use . Installation requires watching a you tube video, but that made it much easier . Unfortunately, these lights don’t work in my house. They are made for new construction and in order to make them work in an older house. You have to retrofit the light fixture, which would cost more money than it’s worth. They are not made to go right into an existing light fixture. Slim, useful lights for dark spots These motion sensor lights are very handy. They are thin, simple looking, and the black finish makes them feel cleaner than a basic night light. The warm white glow is soft but still bright enough for stairs, hallways, closets, or a bedroom at night. I use these on a staircase that has a turn and sometimes gets dark at the turned stairway. They have remained charged for a month and always come on and are triggered from a good distance. I like that they are rechargeable and magnetic, so they can be removed easily when they need charging. The motion sensor works well, and the light looks smooth without harsh dots.
