I am only using three shelves due to the height of my items, and like that I can easily adjust the shelves to fit my needs. I like the customizable shelves. Plan ahead take inventory of the sizes and weights of the things (storage tubs, boxes, etc.) you want to store to decide the perfect sizing for the shelves because once you build it, you don’t want to dismantle it for adjustments. Also, assemble this in the place you plan to keep it. The shelves are lined with particle board, which is flimsy but not concerning for me given this unit sits in a dark storage closet. These were relatively easy to assemble. The design for the clothes hanging bars was a little questionable as they move around once assembled. It would be helpful if the manufacturer provided some sort of guidance (marking on the poles) as to normal heights of hanging clothes. In my opinion, these racks were just a little lightweight in comparison to wire racks I have bought and used in the past. I also think they should be just a little taller. When hanging clothes on the hanging bars (one above the other), another inch or two would have provided some separation between the bottom of the clothes on the top and bottom levels.
