I put this one up in our living room, it’s a pretty wide space and I wanted something that could actually move air around not just look nice. The blades are long and slim, kind of walnut finish that looks classy, not plasticky. When it runs, it’s surprisingly quiet… I was expecting some hum but honestly barely hear it, just air moving. The remote is handy, has 6 speeds so I can fine tune depending if we’re just sitting around or cooking. Tried the reverse direction too, during a cooler night, and it did make the air feel softer instead of breezy. Timer settings are simple, I mostly use the 4 hour one before going to bed. One thing, there’s no light with it, which I knew before, but worth saying since many fans come with one. For me it was fine, we already have ceiling lights.
