Returning from his recent trip to Morocco, Ebern Designs has been reexamining his vision regarding color. The impact on his perspective from the places he saw in the cities of Fez and Marrakesh forced him to step outside of his comfort zone. The resulting pivot has been a harmony of earthy, rich tones of flesh, browns and copper complimented with greens, blues and deep purple.

This abstract acrylic painting on canvas, measuring 80 x 100 cm (height x width), presents a captivating tableau of four stylized figures, possibly representing family or friends. Despite the complexity and the sophistication of the design both of the borders and of the field, this entire carpet espouses an intriguing subdued quality throughout. Here is a striking antique rug an antique Tabriz carpet that was woven in Persia around the turn of the twentieth century. Generally speaking, antique Tabriz rugs and carpets are celebrated for their sophisticated compositions, which strongly reflect the most important qualities of Persian City Rugs. This particular antique Persian carpet boasts an especially sophisticated design which relies heavily on an intriguing utilization of monochromatism. The rich series of borders there are no fewer than three large borders, as well as an assortment of inner and outer borders and the field are all colored in subtly contrasting shades of brown. Despite the complexity and the sophistication of the design both the borders and the field, the entire carpet espouses an intriguing subdued quality throughout. The chambray lacquered twister salt mill and pepper mill are suitable for either salt or pepper. Featuring a scooped concave scallop shape. The pepper grinder and salt grinder are made from solid. Rubberwood fully FSC certified, finished with 8 coats of high gloss lacquer hand polished between each coat. Using a ceramic mechanism, the mill requires a clockwise motion to activate. The mills can be used for grinding either. Rock salt (dry salt crystals) or black peppercorns. Not to be used for sea salt, wet salt, dried wet salt, or pink peppercorns. Beautifully gift-boxed.
