They look gorgeous in my home! My one suggestion is, the pattern is the same on all the beams, so if I were to do it again, I would have the pattern going one way for the first beam and the opposite way for the second beam. I recently purchased the Thermastone concrete fireplace mantel from Wayfair, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. The mantel looks incredible and like it has been part of the house forever. The finish and texture give it a timeless, substantial feel that really elevates the entire fireplace area. The installation process was also excellent. The contractor arranged through Angi did a fantastic job—professional, efficient, and clearly experienced with this type of installation. Everything fit perfectly and the final result looks seamless. One tip if you use the contractor option, make sure to share pictures of your existing fireplace when scheduling. Mine was brick, and when the contractor called to confirm the appointment, I asked if he had seen the photos and my notes. He confirmed that he had and came prepared with the right tools, which made the installation go smoothly. If you’re looking for a simple way to dramatically improve the appearance of your fireplace, I would absolutely recommend this mantel. It’s a beautiful piece and well worth it.. Jason.
