Our rainbarrels are uniquely designed with plastic fittings that match the rate of expansion and contraction of barrel plastic from season to season to avoid leakage. These rainbarrels are repurposed from pre-used overseas food barrels. There may be slight scratching or scuffs due to previous overseas transportation. Since our rainbarrels are made of High Density Polyethylene Plastic they can be left outdoors even in the winter months so there is no need to modify your downspouts in the Spring and Fall. The exact shape of the barrels may vary due to availability but the color and size remain true. Because these barrels were originally used to transport food, there may be residual food product odor. The residual odor will disspiate after a few full barrel filling cycles. We use a PH balanced, environmentally friendly soap when cleaning so that the water gathered can immediately be used on plants without harm. These barrels keep difficult to break down plastics from adding bulk to landfills and also contain and repurpose stormwater.

The Good Ideas Rain Wizard Flex Kit Diverter System will work with virtually every downspout. The design is simple, and the kit includes all the needed installation tools. The diverter system not only fills the barrel from the downspout directly but also avoids overflowing the barrel when properly installed by directing excess water back to the downspout. Installation is quick and easy. On the downspout, simply drill a hole with the included hole saw, then insert the rubber rain catch. The rain catch design allows the collection of water as it runs down the walls of your downspout while it filters out any leafy debris. Next, drill a hole in your rain barrel at the same level and insert the flanged rubber receiver. Finally, connect the diverter and receiver with the included flexible tubing.

Standard Ramping is 29 inches; models FM/PP/PE 3066 and 3072 are 29-13/16 inches, with a 36-5/8 inches long ramping length available. A steel dock edge, or approach ramp is required for proper installation. The Hydraulic Hand Pump system is used to lift the leveler and extend the lip. The operator rotates the relief valve allowing the deck to descend down and rest upon the trailer. Unit comes complete with hand pump, wall mount brackets, cylinder, One-hundred Eighty (180) inch hydraulic line and oil. Truck must pull out for leveler to return to stored position.
