When you get it do not pull the preloaded thread through! I did and then spent a bit of time trying to figure out how to thread up. The trick is to tie new thread on the old and pull it through. Already made lots of stuff and really put it through the workhorse test by making reusable 'paper towels' by putting rolled edges on 9x9 flannel squares. Outwater’s “Edgemate” edge banding tape provides a smooth, neat finish to any project. This 25 ft. roll of real wood veneer edge banding can be used to repair or enhance furniture, cabinets, shelves, and DIY crafts. It works great on wood, plywood, particle board, hardboard, and metal. The brown veneer trim is pre-glued with strong hot melt adhesive. Glue is evenly distributed on the trim for a permanent bond on your furniture or shelf edges. Glue is activated by heat. To apply the veneer edge banding, simply iron it onto the surface using a household iron or edge banding machine. If using a household iron, turn the heat setting to cotton/high. The veneer is made of Grade A quality with beautiful long-lasting finish. Also, the edge banding tape can be trimmed if needed or lightly sanded down to fit your furniture edge. Don’t be cocky (sorry had to)! Do not assume you know how to use this product. It comes with video instructions online that help navigate potential pitfalls such as the propensity to crack when drying. This is silicone which over the long term is worth the effort (adjusts to natural settling, durable, maintains color appeal). They have an amazing array of colors to choose from. And it is easy to apply if you follow the instructions. The only thing that keeps it from sealing a 5 star rating is the time it takes to fully cure and the fact that you could easily overlook the instructions forewarning you of the pitfalls. The 2 parts, once mixed together at room temperature will have a full 60 minutes of application and cleaning time, and forms a creamy mixture with excellent smoothness, also for no-drip vertical application. Once hardened, the product has ultra-high performance in terms of mechanical and chemical resistance. The grout is industrial grade performance even when subjected to enzymatic cleaners and other harsh environments. When applying grout to tile we recommend using The Tile Doctor Green Epoxy Float. The siliconized acrylic latex formula is a no-slump formula, perfect for vertical installations. Use these TEC caulk colors indoors or outdoors. This is a mildew and moisture resistant formula. Caulk colors won't wash out in weather. Apply to seal windows, doors, tub surrounds, kitchen backsplashes, and more. TEC caulk colors are available in 10.3 oz of tubes of sanded and unsanded textures. The sanded caulk is a siliconized acrylic latex formula with a rough texture. This would work well where you are trying to match rougher textured applications such as brick or stone. Unsanded caulk has a smoother finish. Common places to use this siliconized acrylic latex unsanded caulk is against backsplashes in the kitchen, along bathtub surrounds, windows and more. The unsanded tends to be easier to clean because of its smooth surface.
