The product gets five stars ... it's the shipper who cost Wayfair the 1 star. They left this heavy package on my driveway and never even rang the doorbell so I knew it had arrived. Assembly took two of us about 2 hours from start to finish and was simply. Although just particle board with a thin coating, it didn't get damaged during assembly. Tajke your time to put it together as they don't tell you which side is up or down with arrows. You have to take the time to analyse the drawings. Quite pleased for the money and it is working perfectly for my 27+ shoes (socks are in the drawers). The white has a grain effect which makes it look a little nicer. Bought two. Each order comes in two separate boxes. I received three out of the four boxes on time, while one box was received days later! Besides this issue, the result was pretty good. Took a while to assemble the first one, but once you figure it out, it is not difficult. You just need to follow the instructions carefully. The only down side is that the low portion of the closet rod is way too low in order to hang anything!!! So I did not mount the hanging bar, and instead use it for my shoes, buying a shoe rack.
