Easy to assemble. Because of our joint issues, it took about 3 full days; some folks said it took them 1/2 day. Everything was there - even screw drivers. One disappointment is that the clothes protrude from the front, and the hanging space for dresses is probably suitable for children or mini dresses, even with the higher hanger adjustment. I suppose it is the design of the Closet. I will have to continue to use the metalic dress closets for a while. This beats having someone come in and installing a ceiling to floor custom closet for $4-8K, which was my initial plan. For those who may hesitate because of assembling, we did it. However, if you are still hesitating to assemble, its worth having a handyman put together. It is made of compressed wood, but a little gentleness and it will go a long way. The product gets five stars ... it's the shipper who cost Wayfair the 1 star. They left this heavy package on my driveway and never even rang the doorbell so I knew it had arrived. Assembly took two of us about 2 hours from start to finish and was simply. Although just particle board with a thin coating, it didn't get damaged during assembly. Tajke your time to put it together as they don't tell you which side is up or down with arrows. You have to take the time to analyse the drawings. Quite pleased for the money and it is working perfectly for my 27+ shoes (socks are in the drawers). The white has a grain effect which makes it look a little nicer. Very happy with this closet system. I put it together myself and just needed some help with lifting the top pieces on. I thought the instructions were very easy to follow and was supplied with extra screws just in case. The only suggestion that I have is that in one of the areas to hang clothes the bar is too low to actually hang shirts or even folded pants. But I think you could easily place it higher in that specific unit. (I have indicated the section in the picture provided.) I have not problem in recommending this product.. Kl. Penticton, BC.
