I think I viewed a thousand different enclosed ceiling fans with lights until I found the one I liked. It needed to be as low profile as possible since it’s going above a loft bed, and not look cheap. Also a dimmer/different settings. The RGB light option is a bonus. I like that the plastic grill on this one has straight lines, it looks more expensive in my opinion. Installation was ok, the plug for the remote housing kept coming off and getting the lamp screwed into the mounting was manageable for me with smaller hands, but may be difficult for larger hands due to the low profile nature of the unit.. I ordered 7 of the Wynd 5 - Blade Outdoor /Indoor Smart Ceiling Fan for a new home. Although we haven't installed them yet, we have the same existing fans in the current home, and we haven't had any issues with them. Bought this hood since I needed to replace my old one and I must say this thing is absolutely amazing!! Easy installation and it came in perfect condition with no damages at all, it has a motion detector for your hands so you don’t have to press any buttons which was very very cool, also it sucks up the smoke so fast and well. Definitely recommended if you need a hood for your kitchen. It has such a clean finish to it and it should go well with any kitchen. I definitely recommend this hood unlike other hoods that are slow this one will make sure your smoke alarm won’t go off if you are cooking and release too much smoke.
