We have a shoeless house so this small benchshoe organizer is perfect without being in the way. It would hold 8 pairs of my size 7 shoes or 6 of my BFs size 10.5. Only his flip flops will fit on top (my sneakers and low heels fit fine). High heels or don’t fit here and I doubt men’s size 11 or larger would fit. The cushion is loose and optional. We will likely add an adhesive if we don’t swap out. I addd contact paper inside to help with wear and tear. Nicely packed for shipping, and assembly was easy until the nightmare of putting on the doors. Advice once the top screw is inserted into the door, swing door all the way open and pray while you insert into the bottom screw. And wack with a hammer. And yell at each other. And finally success! A solid bench option - works great for our space. Easy assembly and it was clear and quick. However, we could tell there were some imperfections on the benches and they were just touched up with some kind of wood putty, no touch up putty was provided but it would have been nice to have. These are for a second home, which we rent sometimes, so we are keeping them. The outside holes for the screws also don’t have any kind of cover which would have been nice. Overall, a good option..
