[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WOW!!!!!!! This knife should be a must in every single kitchen! This knife is so versatile as to the things you can use it with. We were able to cut vegetables up into the most perfect slim pieces for salads and stirfry mix. But the thing that really amazed us is how well this cut through bone. We eat a lot of steaks here at the house and this was an absolute dream to use with our T-bones. The knife looks super sleek and feels very comfortable in the hand, it’s not too heavy. In fact it’s very lightweight and comfortable to use. It is also super easy to clean the knife. Just be super careful because this knife is very sharp. It did come in a very hard flip box that’s easy to put the knife back in for storing purposes. I will definitely be looking into this brand and purchasing other tools from them. . Chelseab227_5893. This Berghoof stainless steel knife is just the right one that I needed. I like to use medium sized knife that are not too big to hold. And this one is just right size for me. Its not too small to make cutting difficult and not too large either to be difficult to hold. It cut everything sharply, smoothly and precisely. I have used it to cut vegetables, fruits as well as meat, and it works great for everything. Washing is easy and I hope it has a long life. You will be amazed at the many uses of our multi-purpose shears. Of course, they cut things. In the kitchen, use them to snip herbs, trim asparagus, cut up tortillas, trim beans, open food packages, cut cheesecloth or waxed paper, trim flowers-you get the idea. In other areas of the house, they're handy for cutting the cord, twine, or rope, opening packages or envelopes, and lots more. But Shun Multi-purpose Shears really are multi-purpose tools. There's a built-in nutcracker, a jar opener, a bone notch (also very handy when trimming flower stems), a lid lifter, and even two screwdriver tips, one in each handle. They're great for tightening a loose screw in the kitchen cabinet without having to go to the garage to find a screwdriver. Shun Multi-purpose Shears have one blade serrated so they can easily cut through even tough or fibrous materials. A non-slip plastic over-mold on the handles makes them comfortable to use as well. And what could make these already handy tools even handier? The blades separate for easy cleaning, then lock together easily and securely for use.
