This shower system turned out awesome in our bathroom renovation. My husband is much handier than most and was able to install on his own. A few things you need to know what youre doing from the get-go. You have to make sure you get your tile surround just right, know where your studs are, everything. We initially had water pouring out of the door, but we quickly realized we needed to purchase a shower arm extender to point our rain shower head down rather than angled out. That simple change prevents any water from being directed at the door or the hinges. This system is plenty big, but I dont think I would want to go damage with this neo angle design. Design is exactly as we expected and reinforcement on the underside is significantly better than the shower pans from the big box stores that I looked at. Support is very dense so floor should be very solid. I am very happy with this for our new bathroom installation in our basement. kit# 2 luxury shower surrounds for the DIY enthusiast in pre-cut kits for common shower wall sizes. These panels are lightweight, easy to carry, cut, and fabricate. Cutting can be done with a skill saw, angle grinder, jigsaw, etc. To fabricate you can use a Dremel tool, miter, etc. We suggest using Loctite power grab ultimate adhesive or boss 125 adhesive to adhere panels to the walls but compatibility to the other substrates might need testing. We suggest using 100% clear silicone to glue the trim to the panels. We suggest applying the adhesive to the panel, applying circle blobs of caulking about 6”-8” apart throughout the sheet. We also suggest applying 100% silicone, about a ¼” continuous bead around the panel outside edges to ensure a good edge seal and prevent moisture or debris from getting behind the panel.
