I Just installed this floor so I can’t speak to the durability of it just yet. I have a very active Schnauzer and 9 year and it’s been great and super easy to maintain. Installation was a breeze (a local contractor installed it) and ordering from wayfair was amazing (ordered 800sq feet). We did three rooms on the main level. The first picture is with natural light for reference. Planks are a good width with decent thickness. I was specifically looking for a 24” x 24” square table for my small apartment, and this worked perfectly for creating a small dining area. The top feels solid, and I paired it with a table base from another seller since this is just the tabletop. The finish wasn’t quite what I expected, but it’s still nice overall. Also worth noting that only one side is finished—the bottom is unfinished. Mine looks similar to the darker wood shown in the first two photos. This product in the Castelao series puts emphasis on the details to create a totally unique flooring experience. A mulch layer and hand staining process have been used to create an inner glow effect that darkens towards the timeworn plank edges. Due to the natural glow and the vineyard series has high color variation. Meaning, the color hues will span a range from low to high for added brilliance. I LOVE this flooring. I have had about 1800 sq feet down for 4 years and just purchased more. My installer thought it was hardwood when he arrived and I had a bit layed out. These tops are made from beautiful reclaimed pine, spruce, fir, etc. with a metal edge and are about 1.5” thick. A cabinet-grade plywood backing adds additional stability to ensure that your tables withstand the normal wear and tear of a restaurant. Each table top is a natural reclaimed wood product, providing additional character with some variation in color and texture based on the raw material available. The reclaimed wood table tops come with a water-based urethane Matte finish to make them easy to clean and keep yourself free of pesky splinters. These table tops are not recommended for outdoor use.
