The fabric is soft with a beautiful drape, and once they were hung they fell naturally and elegantly. I followed the advice to extend my curtain rods almost wall-to-wall and keep the panels mostly off the windows when open. The result completely transformed both my dining room and living room. The windows look much larger, the rooms feel brighter, and the white fabric beautifully softens my dark wood furniture and leather sofa.
