I had this in my cart for a couple months and finally decided to purchase it. I LOVE IT! It is super easy to put together. Unlike higher end lamps, the posts are comprised of several shorter pieces of metal that you twist together to assemble. That is perfectly acceptable to me as a tradeoff for price and ease of transport (I'll be moving in a few months). To me, it looks more high-end than what the price would suggest. Pros: Adjustable height, adjustable light temperature (cooler, medium, and warmer), beautiful design, color (I got brass), and finish. Cons: The pole pieces can become loose if you move it around a lot. Most people are not going to be moving it around. I am because I specifically bought it as a puzzle light to shine over a table in the evenings, but also to use in a dark corner of the living room (primarily for reading or floor games and activities) as needed. The lamp was fairly easy to set up and came with a lightbulb. The lighting area is appropriate but it is a little top heavy so you have to be careful how you angle the head of the lamp. This desk comes in about nine hundred pieces and is very very tedious to put together. I guess I should have known that but honestly the few hours I had to dedicate to putting it together was a bit of a let down. And then you also realize it’s not as nice of quality as you were expecting since all the pieces are cheaper. But it looks nice enough once it’s together. It gets the job done. Honestly the keyboard tray is why I wanted this and it’s okay, but a little clunky lookingfeeling. I think next time I would try to find a solid wood desk, but for the price I guess you get what you pay for.
