we were so excited about this very expensive light, paid a license electrician to install it. We kept the protective wrapping on until it was hung up. It uncovered 3 sets of scratches! My issue is the company who packed it KNEW the scratch marks were there, as it was hand wrapped. Wayfair did provide me with a discount. The wires were installed incorrectly, the electrician easily untwisted them. I didn't buy a scratch and dent model. Seriously disappointing they would send it out scratched like that. The fixture itself is nice, but th brass punch out piece in the centre was crushed to fit in a box for shipping so well have to take time to reshape the piece. Post-install didnt take too long to reshape. Looks great, adds some sparkle to our entry! The only negative is that it doesnt sit perfectly flush against the ceiling bc the screws that the nuts fit over are a bit too long. The chandelier is everything we hoped it would be and looks beautiful however none of the wires or glass pendants are to touch the halogen bulb or base. The is almost impossible to do because the placement on the chandelier where you attach the wire/glass discs is directly above some of the lights.
