From the few uses I've had so far from it, I love it. It does get a bit confused by cliffs, so you need to use the app to mark an area around a cliff as a no- go zone. It also gets confused around my vent on the floor, and it thinks it's a cliff too. I just mark that as a no go zone and I've had no problems thus far. It navigates around chairs and under my bed like a dream. It also mops hard floors, and suctions more on carpet. It has a voice that you can change to many languages. Pretty nifty and a game changer! We moved into a house with laminate floors but we still have area rugs too. So I did research on what I needed to not ruin the floors but keep them clean. Wow, this little vacuum is awesome, so much easier and faster than sweeping. AND it can vacuum underneath almost all of the furniture- it is practically flat! On carpet it seems to have a mind of its own though, it almost drags me along with it. I’m not sure if it is self propelled but it’s like holding back a persistent small dog from chasing a rabbit. ( maybe I'm old and not so steady!) A few draw backs- but nothing I can’t live with, but annoying: the design makes the vacuum not stand on its own. It’s top heavy so you have to lean against something or lay it down if you have to move something while vacuuming. When emptying the dirt receptacle - if you bang it too hard against a plastic garbage can the door falls off. I thought this was a one time accident but it has happened a few times. But on the positive side when this happens I clean the fallen door before putting it back on. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the Roomba Max 705 Combo robot and Auto Wash Dock. I love that the docking station is a neutral coloured, elegant looking wood pattern. It fits in with my electronics and furniture nicely. The robot itself is also quite nice looking. At first I was overwhelmed with the app because it's confusing, but once you have the hang of it and your robot is personalized to your liking it's pretty easy to contend with. The robot cleans quite well. It has mopping features and a vacuum and can do floors or rugs just fine. I was worried about the mop getting mouldy but the Docking station does all the work. Washing and drying, emptying out the dust and keeping things tidy for me. You have to trust the process. The robot knows what it's doing and you barely have to fuss with it in between cycles. It's also mapped out my place extremely well and knows what to avoid. My favorite thing about it is that it's helped cut down on cat hair. We brought this product back in January. I am writing this review end of April. We have used at least once a week. It has done its job. This cordless vacuum is exactly what I needed. Easy to change the attachments and lightweight so it doesn’t wear me out to vacuum the whole house! Rocky was easy to setup. Some advice, only vacuum one room at a time in the beginning. We have pets and the dustbin was so full it couldn’t empty. I had to take the top off rocky and empty myself. Now I’m vacuuming one room at a time so the dustbin doesn’t get too full. Then with regular cleaning I’ll go back to full cleaning. I also love the mopping feature.
