It has mounting plates, which is no biggie, however it doesn’t come with a template or instructions, so you need to measure and calculate the distances. They have an instruction link on the description of the item. However it’s for a toilet paper holder. If you’re interested, here’s some mounting info that we had to figure out that may help. -Distance from one end of the towel bar to the first screw hole 1 78” -screw it in, make sure it’s level (throughout the rest of installation too) and use the other hole to put the next screw in. -The distance between the outer screw holes is 6 34”.
