A quick search online between the big box, appliance stores and direct website resulted in the purchase direct from Frigidaire. Especially convenient was the option to have it installed, since it was going to be placed in the basement. We really like the quiet operation, the glass shelves, a basket at the bottom and the door shelves. This model FFUE1626AW is larger than the previous freezer (which was getting packed sometimes after impulse purchases of on sale meat) - more like the size of a regular fridge, possibly taller. It also has a modern look with the curved door - unlike most which are flat and look like a so-so appliance. This freezer will allow us to break up the purchases into smaller quantities and still have room for more.
