Although the quality of this product is great and works great, the process that we had to go through to get this product was terrible. This is more of a 1 star rating on the Wayfair process than the product quality.
We had ordered 4 of these earlier, and did have problems getting that order filled too, but after receiving the damaged product customer service worked to resolve the problem, so we thought we should go ahead and give them another try and get two more tables. So we placed another order on Jan 30, 2017. We needed the at minimum April 1 for events we had coming, and the lead time was 1-2 months which would get it here in plenty of time. The order was processed and our credit card was not charged until the order shipped on Feb 27, 2017. But then the problems started. The shipment never showed up, and when we called, we were told it disappeared when it arrived to a vendor in Colorado. After a week or so, it was discovered that the items were damaged in transit and refused by the local delivery. Then the only solution given was to re-order and wait another 1-2 months. So we were going to miss our April 1 target. Then we cringed when found out that the product wouldn't be delivered until Jun 2017. Today we finally got the delivery, but our credit cards were charged over 3 months ago, which means that Wayfair had our money for three months with no product. Therefore, I will not be repeating an order, on this or any other products.
UPDATE: I would like to thank the prompt attitude and response to my concerns. Especially for Catherine H. Customer relations manager. She went to the mats for us. She contacted Renee and helped to resolve the problems. Thank you very much Catherine.
It is a good lesson for both customers and companies. As customers, we just want good quality products, fair pricing, and almost above all else great Customer Service! At times, all businesses have problems, and sometimes even customers are at fault. Whatever the situation is, good communication is vital, and I really appreciate Wayfair reaching out to us.
