Like the size and shape of these bowl planters. They are a little different from the average planters and flowerpots. I even inverted one to sit a planter I already had to give it more height. I really like these planter boxes. They’re very well made and easy to fill. The top component comes out and I was able to put some river rock at the bottom to help balance it out as I wanted to put some tall plants inside the upper portion. The price is right for something of this quality. It is a plastic or resin container, however this makes it easier for me to move around. The sides are thick, and the construction is solid. I believe they will do very well to stand up to the elements. Great placement of the drain holes in both the upper and bottom section for living plants. Perfect! Great quality, look, size, shape, etc. I found a similar/same item (but under a different brand) on the Wayfair site in black, but stalled to order and sale price increased from $120-ish to $166.99 in one day. Was very bummed until I found these for $104 each - the photo, dimensions and description were identical (except for color). Thought I was settling, but the brownstone color is beautiful - not a chocolate brown like I feared, just a neutral grayish-brown that's slightly speckled and really looks great. Attached is a photo next to a black container for reference. Also love that the thick lip around the planter makes it feel substantial and give it extra strength, even though its a 1-ply heavy gauge plastic pot. Im using it for a large espalier shrub for screening so its sturdiness is important. Drain holes will need to be drilled, but that's a minor inconvenience compared to all positives.. Rosy1111. NY.
