UPDATE: I ended up taking of the back to see what it was. Turns out they left a foil sticker flapping around on the fan. I removed it, and it works fine. I'm OK with the function but was disappointed at the hassle--nearly had to send it back! My original review below. I liked it, but unfortunately, after <10 uses, I hear a rattle from the inside. Works well. The air filter and lint filter are a little fussy, but they also get diner particles. The operation method is different from our old dryer, but it’s fine. As noted, it’s 120V, so it can take longer. It did great on the “challenge” load which included towels. It’s got little handholds on the side which made it easy to get into place (plus it’s light enough to move around). I just love my new cooktop. The design makes it really easy to clean. In terms of performance, I noticed that cook times are a little bit shorter. The gas dial has a wide range, so I can go from very low to high flame. Also having an additional burner is great. I can have multiple meals going at the same time. This is my first induction cooktop. Didn’t know what to expect, but I got to say, it is wonderful. It heats quickly and cooks evenly at different temperatures. The controls are easy to see and use. It has different settings, like simmering that works great. I really like the configuration of the controls as well. Did I mention how nice it looks on our counter, picture attached. When I got the cooktop it came with all the necessary instructions and warnings including how not to scratch the ceramic top.
