had issues with fedex shipping my couch, when the couch arrived, i was worried that it would be damaged since the boxes came wet heavily damaged. at first i was discouraged at assembling since the cushions looked flat and the couch was stiff but I decided to add memory foam into the cushion and fluff up the cushion, now they are comfy and the couch grew on me and i am in love with my couch. Overall, didn’t appareciate how difficult fedex was, they had sent the couch in 6 pieces - personally it should have arrived in all one go but at the same time i understand why it had to be sent in 6 pieces. Other than that, if you go for this couch - be prepared to diy the cushions to be more comfortable. Joshua. Laredo, TX. Thu Sep 17 2026

I absolutely love this sectional! The color is beautiful in person, the fabric is soft, and the couch is really comfortable. I especially love the movable ottomans—I can easily change the setup depending on whether we’re lounging, having a movie night, or want more open space. My only issue was assembly. The instructions are universal for several of their couches instead of specific to this model, so it was confusing at first. I assembled part of it incorrectly and had to undo about 30 minutes of screwing. Tip Open ALL the boxes first and make sure you have all the pieces and hardware before starting.. Anonymous. This modular sectional came in eight boxes, which we expected. I love putting things together, so assembling this sectional was pretty fun for me. I gave it four stars for two reasons: 1) The legs on this are plastic, not wood. 2) It is not very comfortable. Also, if you are expecting this couch to be grey, it’s not. It’s more of a dark navy - which is exactly what we wanted. Since it’s a basement couch for us, we couldn’t beat the price, the quick delivery, the quick assembly, and it looks really nice!. I cannot say enough good things about this sectional! I spent months looking at couches and was extremely hesitant to order one online without sitting on it first. The Brinsley ended up being exactly what I was looking for. The taupe color is absolutely beautiful in person. It’s the perfect warm neutral and works beautifully with the rest of our room. The corduroy fabric is incredibly soft and cozy, and the couch feels substantial without looking bulky. Having a home with pets, I needed something that could be comfortable and livable while still looking beautiful. This checks all of those boxes. Love this couch! Beautiful color, and very soft. Great addition to my empty living room! The back is a tad bit shorter than imagined, but I will get used to that. Assembly was a beast, but that may be because I am a paralegal, not a furniture builder. Also, directions provided with purchase were different than the online version, which was a little confusing..
