This rug has a very classic design and is very soft. It does show splotches of greybrown appearing in different areas, but I discovered it is the lay of the pile in the rug. Brushed one way, it is white and the opposite way, it shows up as what I thought were stains in this rug. It probably should be vacuumed daily, and it will likely wear for a long time.
