This blue-ocean with its impressive 16'' globe and solid hardwood stand, offers exceptional form and function. Additional features include an illuminated globe ball and full die-cast numbered meridian.

This is a nice globe and stand but there is no cord routing and the switch is a cheap inline cord switch that you sometimes see used with cheap lamps. The cord with switch just hangs down from the globe. The illustration does not show this.. Kuskokwim. Baker City, Oregon. Sun Dec 05 2010

Get a closer look at the world, thanks to the gyro-matic mounting that swings up or down to bring any area into closer view. Vivid map to help easily distinguish political boundaries. Numbered full-meridian and gyro assembly.

This is a well-made, accurate globe with a raised relief to represent topography like mountain ranges. My one complaint is that the color of the holder looks a little darker in the online picture as though it were an antique brass finish, and the actual color is bright golden (spray-painted steel?), so uniform in color that it almost looks plastic. There is also a small blue plastic disk at the top of the holder that isn't shown in the picture. This is still very good; as an object of decor, it's not quite what I wanted.. Mary. Boston, MA. Stunning and captivating silver and black geographic map/ocean as never before seen in this color combination. This style of the globe was eminently popular in the 1940s and 1950s but has since made a striking comeback in a modern outtake. Design coordinators have added 3-D mountain landmasses features to blend with the unique style sphere. Creating an enchanting world globe that features clean lines and sophisticated style. Matte silver oceans provide a perfectly pristine backdrop for vibrantly jet black continents and countries, making this 3D Mountain on Metal Frame Globe stand out among the rest. Raised relief and political boundaries add to the educational value of the sphere, while the jet black painted metal base and matching full swing, gyro-matic meridian elevate this stunner to a full 20.5" tall. No matter where you choose to put this gorgeous globe, it will take center stage and become a conversation piece among your other belongings.

The globe is beautiful and nice and heavy. We put dots on the globe to show where we traveled. The globe was just what I was looking for.. Kathleen. San Diego, CA. Sat Mar 29 2025

A regular desk lamp is enough to illuminate a quiet night, but that would be too boring. Since that's the case, why not add some fun to the quiet night by lighting up our magnetic levitation globe? Letting it quietly spin around, searching for the country name you want with your children or friends on it and the nighttime will become so interesting. NOTES: 1. Please keep this item at least 7.87 inches away from computer devices and other electronic devices and metal. 2. Don't unplug the power adapter without removing the globe first, or the globe will pound the base. Please kindly put the globe on the base when it is not powered on. 3. To prevent damage to the circuit and ensure the long life of the product, if the suspension fails after several attempts, please unplug the power supply and wait for three minutes or more before trying the suspension operation again. 4.
