This rug has a very classic design and is very soft. It does show splotches of greybrown appearing in different areas, but I discovered it is the lay of the pile in the rug. Brushed one way, it is white and the opposite way, it shows up as what I thought were stains in this rug. It probably should be vacuumed daily, and it will likely wear for a long time. It is a bit thicker than what I had expected. It arrived rolled up covered in plastic wrap and laid flat with no bunching or creases. I do like it and the outer edging is well made.. Sharon. I was looking for a rug just inside my office deck door that would be comfortable under bare feet, dog friendly, and stay fairly low profile. This one ended up being exactly what I was hoping for. The color is a soft blend of grays that works well with my flooring and doesn't compete with the rest of the room. I especially like that the pattern is subtle and doesn't draw attention to itself. The rug feels soft underfoot, which was important since I frequently walk through this doorway barefoot. It is thin enough for a doorway but still feels comfortable. I did pair it with a non-slip rug pad to help keep it in place on my hardwood floor. The rug is soft and was the color I was looking for. It was 8’ x 2’6” so it is longer and wider than most standard runners. I had to put rug grips under the rug because it will move without them. I purchased this rug for my personal office space- it looked very plus and good on the feet. To my surprise, it is in fact comfy, and a decent size for my desk space. Setup was straightforward, just had to cut the plastic wrap and unravel. For the price, I cant complain, the color is great, and adds some character to the room. The only issue I experienced is that since my desk area is somewhat big and by having a rolling chair, sometimes I fall out of the rug area and the wheel can pull up the rug when trying to get back without lofting.
