The instructions were not difficult, but it required methodically following step by step. It said not to use an electric drill, but I did, just with very little power. I purchased two nightstands and overall am happy with them. The main reason Im giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the color was NOT at all similar to what was pictured online. They are very sturdy and arrived almost fully assembled—all I had to do was attach the feet and install the drawer knobs. These nightstands are amazing. I love the color and the size. They hold quite a bit. And the wood looks very good. The drawer on the other stand does not close all the way, but I’m sure that is because I did not screw something in properly. Overall really like the product. When we got it put together and tried the drawers it shut so tight that it just slid across our hardwood floor. We realized there was a rubber piece that locked it in place once shut. I’m sure it would eventually wear down so it wasn’t hard to open but we just removed them and that seems to be perfect.
