I wish the tabletop were about an inch thicker, as it is quite thin with a very thick/dense base which throws off the aesthetics a bit. Gorgeous table. This is the 79 inch length in natural wood. The table top is one solid piece so there are no lines or seams visible. It comfortably holds 4 small chairs but can seat up to 6. (Note It depends on the type of chairs you pair with the table. The bulkier they are the less likely you can fit more than 4.)You can sit at the end of the table which was a concern as a lot double pedestal designs don’t leave enough space. (image attached of our chair at the end). The legs of the table arrived slightly damaged but we are not sure if it was during wayfair’s assembly or from the manufacturer. Packaging This table comes in two massive boxes fully wrapped and sealed. Wayfair did a wonderful job making sure the wood base and top was wrapped and cushioned with styrofoam to keep it safe in its delivery journey! All the pieces came to me without any scratches or breaks. It came in perfect condition. Assembly Over the years k have gotten pretty good at assembling pieces of furniture. This piece was easy to put together and the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. I don’t think anyone will have trouble! Quality LOVE!!!!! I mean, that’s all I need to say in the matter! It’s beautiful, solid wood, sturdy, and a statement piece! It is massive, so you will need a larger dining room, but it is perfect to host those holiday parties! Had nothing but issues since this order. It came damaged with no hardware. They sent me a new one then that became back ordered so I asked for the hardware to put this one together. I was told 5 times it was being sent. Then I just asked for a refund. I was given the refund and again asked for hardware, I was told the hardware company would reach out to see what I needed.
