These curtains came out just right I thought there might be a gap at the bottom after hanging the rod above the window frame but they sit just perfect. I bought these in pink. I would not have imagined myself buying something so frou-frou but I did. Also the old windows are leaky for air and I wanted something to help stop the cold or heat. I put these in a room wallpapered in blue and pink flowers, paired them with lace curtains, and the windows are directly side by side. This is a home built in 1891 and they look very nice with the style house. These frame the windows beautifully and the ruffles add a pretty element. These would be very pretty in a bedroom or a room used by a women who likes a feminine look. They have a look that would work well in a modern style home as well as in older homes. Much nicer in person than the picture shows. The material is a little weird. When I was ironing them I would notice an occasional red thread which isn't noticeable when they are up. I'm guessing it's just the type of material.. Micki. Mon Nov 24 2025
