It also has a stickier coating on the back to ensure it stays in place, which is a nice feature but not one that I necessarily needed. I imagine it will help keep the rug in place if chair legs catch on it, though. The only con for me is the thickness. This rug is rather thin. Do not buy! This order has been a nightmare. I first received only stool legs with no seats. When I did finally receive the seats, after contacting customer service, they sent the wrong color. I've been in contact with customer service six separate occasions now and nobody will help me. I am returning these.
