For exterior they would need to be installed in damp location such as a covered porch, soffit, etc.. A place where the fixtures would not receive direct saturation.

Honestly I haven’t had the chance to install this yet but I have several friends that have used these before and it didn’t seem to be difficult. these lights were exactly what i was looking for. they are small, low profile and provide a LOT of light. i was wary about getting puck lights b/c i wasn't sure if they would give a spotlight effect on the counters or not. they give off a nice even diffused light. We got the 2700k and it's a beautiful warm light. note, you MUST buy a power supply for this if you don't have one. Call Wayfair or Kichner support, they will be very helpful. We got the one from kichner it was a dimmer with the transformer built in and when this thing is dimmed all the way down, it's still pretty bright. meaning when i turn them up they light up my counters perfectly. my one worry is i don't know how long they will last and if i should keep a spare around. i hope they last as long as led lights are supposed to. but 1 week in, i'm thrilled.. I am very pleased with these recessed LED lights. The housing is strong and not flimsy at all, I was a little scared they might not be a good quality product, but I was wrong.
