While I agree, I was pleased to discover it has warm, rich tones of taupe or champagne and is even more attractive than the photos indicate. My only issue is that it doesn't come in a more sizing options. We need something closer to 10x14 not really smaller than that... 9'6 x 13'1 is not ideal unfortunately for our space. We have gray cloud paint color by Benjamin Moore on our walls and it goes perfectly with that color along with our wood floors. Initially I would have thought that I needed a thicker rug pad but the rug is very comfortable to walk on and I'm just going to probably end up getting a thinner felted rug pad for added comfort and sound dampening. The pattern is really perfect and for someone who is trying to stay away from the Oriental traditional vibe. This is great and it's not too precious because God forbid we live our life and spill a cup of coffee on the carpet. I don't think it's going to ruin the entire thing because it definitely has that abstract pattern that I think will hide a lot. I just wish they had expanded sizes! I'm obsessed and will probably end up buying a larger size and have a carpet specialist help me make a few adjustments by cutting two of the sides and adding binding on one and fringe on the other because I love it so much and really want to use it in my space but it needs to match my vision and fit the room exactly as I'm seeing it in my mind. This means it will have to be a Frankenstein style because the fringe won't match on each end and then the binding on one side will be different too. I ordered the 5x7 sized rug for my entryway. I love the color, which is a dark navy blue. The pattern print is lovely and fibers are very soft. The colors lighten up when the light comes through my windows. Spots will not show up with this color as much as a lighter tone. I expect to enjoy it for years to come. I bought two of these rugs after looking for some time. I have used them on my covered porch for two spring /summer seasons. I am very happy with the durability and it is lovely. Would definitely order again and again. The colour is neutral and gives a "jute rug" vibe however the rug is soft (flat pile). I have not experienced any issues with the threads or staining. It has been wet and dries fairly quickly. Not certain I would install in areas that are not protected as it is not on the cheaper side and would be concerned the elements may damage it. Happy with this rug! I spent days deciding, and it's so worth it. OVERALL: The quality is amazing; very thick and soft. I got a rug pad, but it's already decently thick on its own. The slightest smell has dissipated in three days. Lays fully flat; no creases, and the curled edge went flat. COLOR: It is almost entirely cool-toned; the silvery gray is prominent.
