I wasn't sure what to expect given comments about the color of the rug being more gray than beige as the pictures depict. While I agree, I was pleased to discover it has warm, rich tones of taupe or champagne and is even more attractive than the photos indicate. My only issue is that it doesn't come in a more sizing options. We need something closer to 10x14 not really smaller than that... 9'6 x 13'1 is not ideal unfortunately for our space. We have gray cloud paint color by Benjamin Moore on our walls and it goes perfectly with that color along with our wood floors. Initially I would have thought that I needed a thicker rug pad but the rug is very comfortable to walk on and I'm just going to probably end up getting a thinner felted rug pad for added comfort and sound dampening. The pattern is really perfect and for someone who is trying to stay away from the Oriental traditional vibe. This is great and it's not too precious because God forbid we live our life and spill a cup of coffee on the carpet. I don't think it's going to ruin the entire thing because it definitely has that abstract pattern that I think will hide a lot. I just wish they had expanded sizes! I'm obsessed and will probably end up buying a larger size and have a carpet specialist help me make a few adjustments by cutting two of the sides and adding binding on one and fringe on the other because I love it so much and really want to use it in my space but it needs to match my vision and fit the room exactly as I'm seeing it in my mind. This means it will have to be a Frankenstein style because the fringe won't match on each end and then the binding on one side will be different too. I bought two of these rugs after looking for some time. I have used them on my covered porch for two spring /summer seasons. I am very happy with the durability and it is lovely. Would definitely order again and again. The colour is neutral and gives a "jute rug" vibe however the rug is soft (flat pile). I have not experienced any issues with the threads or staining. It has been wet and dries fairly quickly. Not certain I would install in areas that are not protected as it is not on the cheaper side and would be concerned the elements may damage it. This is just what I hoped for a light colored, neutral, easy to care for rug. We’ve had it four months now and there have been several spills. Just wow. This rug looks exactly like the photo portrays. I wanted to know if it was soft and I can safely say it is scratchy lol it does have a sort of softness to it in the way a high quality jute rug feels. It’s not extremely thick like I thought it would be, but it’s definitely thicker than a non-wool rug and it is very heavy. It seems to have a hint of green in the color but it matches a mushroom type of color scheme so very neutral. I’m so excited to have this rug it is very high quality and has no odor!. Jennifer. Happy with this rug! I spent days deciding, and it's so worth it. OVERALL: The quality is amazing; very thick and soft. I got a rug pad, but it's already decently thick on its own. The slightest smell has dissipated in three days. Lays fully flat; no creases, and the curled edge went flat. COLOR: It is almost entirely cool-toned; the silvery gray is prominent. The darkest brown is not warm; the next most prominent color is a cool taupe/brown, and then various other colors; a slight tan/gold-ish color is lightly in there.. Alexa. Galloway, NJ. I bought this rug two years ago in a 5x7 and have wanted it in a bigger size for an adjacent room for a long time. I finally found it at a great price here on wayfair. It arrived quickly and was well packaged. It rolled out flat immediately and has no smell. I’m not experiencing any shedding. It’s soft under my feet and the color variations and texture are just gorgeous. It will match any neutral decor. I don’t have a rug pad under it.
