Our contractor vented it outside the house. He had to put some trim at the top to cover the holes, but it looks great! This piece of hardware from Kingston brass is heavyweight and well-made. I bought several pieces of hardware to match in the antique brass finish. I should have consulted my contractor prior to buying this, because another piece is needed to work with this three-way diverter valve. It would’ve been helpful to have notes on the description, indicating another piece was needed. The recirculation kits performs multi-stage filtration and removes the odor from the gas and smoke that is sucked into the range hood, which removes harmful components and pollutants in the smoke, and effectively solves the problem of using range hoods in houses where the range hood cannot be exhausted. Do not try to clean the charcoal filter in the recirculation kit as it can not be cleaned, Please change the charcoal filter every 4-6 months (depending on hood usage)

Because ceramic carbide is impervious to friction, it can last for many years before needing replacement. Solid brass body and stem with 3/8" x 16PT teeth on spline count for the handle. The cartridge thread size is 1/2-14 NPSM. Featuring an M24 x 1.0 threaded collar, and a rubber O ring at the bottom.
