[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The rug is a bit darker in color than pictured. It still looks nice and looks like it will be durable. There are no frayed edges. The rug is of moderate comfort- its not plush or lined with any padding so I did not expect it be super comfortable out of the packaging. This rug is very high quality! It lays extremely flat right away. The pad I bought for under it isnt settled yet so you see those folds underneath.... but that will subside. Its a pretty nice rug, it shipped rolled with a cardboard tube and end caps, wrapped in thick plastic, so there were no stains and it flattened out nicely. There was a chemical smell after unrolling it, but we let it air out for a few days with the ceiling fan on and it lessened over time, I could vaguely notice it after a few days if I went out. After 2 weeks, no smell at all even if you get ground level and sniffed. Its fairly soft and decently thick for a low knap rug. It does benefit from a rug pad, as all thinner rugs do, for extra cush underfoot, but I think its okay without one. Got the 9x12, pretty good price for the size as there arent as many options when you go bigger than 8x10. This is replacing an 8x10 in the living room, as that was a bit too small to properly tie everything together. After a year, it's held up well to toddler play, cats and vacuuming.. Kevin. This rug is beautiful BUT I would pay very close attention to product description and reviews, otherwise you may find yourself not completely thrilled with the product. I think the stock photos give the rug a more “mute”“neutral” vibe but in actually the color is very much prominent in pink and blue tones. The rug is very thin and soft. This may be a benefit depending on what you’re looking for, but if this rug is on a hard surface it may need a rug pad of some sort to keep it from sliding and provide more cushion. The wrinkles flattened almost completely within a day when I took it out of the box which was awesome. Overall I am very happy with this product but it is quite different than a “traditional” rug so just pay attention to the product description so you make sure you understand what you’re buying.. I absolutely adore this rub. It's a neutral color so it'll go with almost anything and any color that you have in your living room or anywhere you need to set your rug. I put mine in my guest bedroom because it's all hardwood floor and I don't want my guests to have cold feet. I also love that it's easy to vacuum.
