These lights look beautiful. We were able to install them ourselves and they look so classy and timeless. This was way better quality than I expected. Our last one completely faded and got destroyed in the high humidity and direct sun. This one feels substantial and seems to be made of entirely weatherproof materials. Only time will tell. Cameras are great and SUPER easy to set up. I am in MN, so it will be interesting to see if the battery works. While Eufy could GREATLY improve their e-commerce site, I am happy with what I got. BUT, a few things not apparent on the order page that might help you: 1. Cameras come with cords; so you can charge AND/OR do solar. You cannot plug them in. 2. You want to make sure your entire system sycnhs to homebase, and there are multiple homebase versions (these MAY be, but seem incompatible when trying to set up full systems, so make sure you get all consistent with your base) 3. Still working on figuring out the app settings, as different cameras have different settings available, but I like these. The lights wont be fully installed for a while yet but I am pleased with their overall desighn and condtruction. THey will hold up well to outdoor conditions. There is a swith on the junction box that will change the lighting effect as desired. Lastly - the description, and even instructions, specify a 2 7/8" hole saw cut needed for installation. THis is not a readily avaiable hole sixe to find, but on further isnpection, a hole saw of 2 5/8" is sufficient and will do the job just as good if not better providing a hole with less slop for the fixture to move within.. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This outdoor light is much nicer than I expected it to be. It’s very sturdy weather resistant metal with LED light strip encased under lens. It’s pretty cool in that each side metal are like wings. You can put them back against the lamp leaving a wide opening straight in front (shown in my photo) or you can angle them in any position both the same or completely independent per side, all the way until they touch in the middle, which makes it look like a very thin strip of light in the middle and two wider strips on the sides, allowing you to have a different look whenever you want. The other cool options are color tone switchable and dimmable. You have to provide your own switch but they sell a switch that is dimmable as well as 4 position click so you can do both. If you only have your normal in and off switch, you won’t be able to do the dimmable feature, but you can switch between 3000k, 4000k, and 5000k simply by turning off and in to cycle through. This would look nice as a pair- one on each side of the door or each side of the garage door. I even thought it would look nice to have several that were attached to the posts around the deck railing. As you can see in the photo, it’s even bright in daylight. It is hardwired for outdoor use, but if they decide to have an option of a plug in, I think I’d like these as hallway lights, above paintings, over doorways, or even in stairwells since you can angle the lamp“Wings”. We placed this smart wall washer light outside in our back yard to compliment our solar pathway lighting as it is very dark there. We needed additional lighting to brighten areas where potential "critters" might gather such as: skunks, racoons, cats, deer, fox, and the dreaded coyote.
