Polished Brass

The kit seems to be made well, of thick brass. The finished parts in polished chrome seems to be of very good quality too. When I ordered it, I was concerned about the durability of the tip-toe part, but this part is packaged separately, so in case it fails, it seems like it's possible to buy it separately, and there is no need to replace the whole kit. I haven't installed the kit yet, but overall it seems like a good purchase. The only criticism I have is that it wasn't packaged that well by the manufacturer. We had our bathroom remodeled two years ago and the drain housing rim appeared to deteriorate. See attached photo. Since I originally purchased the tub parts from Wayfair, I was able to find a replacement part. Install was easily done with the right tool. Perhaps the hardest part of this repair was removing the damaged drain housing, but nothing a good breaker bar with the drain wrench couldn't handle.
