[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was purchased to replace a similar Bosch unit that finally failed with an inside metal lining burn after 18 years of faithful service. It is a very nice piece of equipment, with just a few comments. First, the microwave function is very quiet, a plus. However, the internal vent fan is very loud. More to the point, while air blows out the top vent, there is very little flow into the two-under vent portals, not very efficient removing smoke and odors. The control and number pad is very difficult to read in normal light. Either the text needs to stand out more, or ideally it would be better if illuminated. Embed the plastic housing with nut inside into a concrete countertop. Once I started to fasten the nut inside would pull out of the plastic housing. I had this problem with 60% of them. I ended up using tapcons with the brackets from the PFUCCLIP.. Thomas. Fri Dec 01 2023
