I had a ge microwave already. This was basically the newest version. Be careful. The mount bracket is a little different and the top screws are in a different spot. It came with nice paper templates that showed you exactly where to mount and drill. Me and a friend installed it in 45 minutes. Works great. No fluff solid ge appliance. I’m happy. James. Great microwave. Looks great, sits higher above cooktop, fast. Powerful fan, runs quietly. There's a similar cheaper model with slower fan. the only design features we don't like is the extremely wide door, done for cosmetic reasons only. Looks good but you have to step back to swing it open. If installing yourself read the manual on venting, they default to recirculate instead of vent to outside. Found out the hard way. Worst dryer I have ever owned and the washer that goes with it is even worse than the dryer. Nothing is ever completely dry after the first cycle AND the clothes come out VERY wrinkled. I have to iron every pair of pants that comes out of there (even dry fit comes out wrinkled) and if I didn't refuse to iron T-shirts, those would need be ironed as well. It doesn't have +10 sec button. 2. You have to open and close the door before you can access any buttons. It should have a sensor that lights up the buttons when you tap the front.. Socal12345.
