The grates feel substantial without being overly tall, and the continuous stainless‑steel surface makes cleaning incredibly easy since the burners are fully enclosed. In terms of performance, I tend to rely on the higher‑BTU burners. They heat quickly and work well for most of my cooking. The lower‑BTU burners, however, take noticeably longer, so I don’t find myself using them often. One small inconvenience is that I have to push down the knobs twice to ignite the flame, which isn’t a deal‑breaker but is worth noting. I love this induction cooktop!! It has many features that my old induction cooktop did NOT have. I price shopped for this exact model and Wayfair had the best price so I also saved a good bit of money. Although if you order from Wayfair the installation is NOT part of the price. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We added this 24" induction cooktop into the very small kitchen of our new construction vacation home, as a green alternative to installing another Bosch gas burner cooktop like we've been using at home for the past 15 years. We cook A LOT, and we're a longtime Bosch family, and even though it's taking some getting used to cooking on induction vs. open flame, in general we're loving this appliance because it fits our limited available space, it's very intuitive to use, and it's super-easy to clean! On "con" = we find we're having to be extra-careful not to drag heavy pots across the cooktop (as we'd gotten used to doing on the very rugged cast iron grate of our gas cooktop at home) - this induction cooktop surface definitely feels more "delicate" than our gas cooktop grate.
