This refrigerator has the storage options you're looking for whether you're college-bound or simply want a little extra refrigerator space in your home or office. It offers plenty of additional refrigerator food space for storing your favorite beverages and cold snacks. Removable glass shelves in the refrigerator help you keep food items organized. Its door storage options, including a can dispenser, help you save space and keep frequently used beverages and snacks accessible. Leveling legs keep things steady, allowing food items to remain securely and neatly in place while stored inside.
The light doesn’t come on when I open the door. If the shelves aren’t going to go all the way to the back wall, it would be helpful if the back edge had a vertical bit to prevent stuff from falling off. Apparently you have to remove the top panel if you want to completely remove the protective plastic layer from the sides. I appreciated it HAVING a protective layer on the sides & front, tho! And both the inner & outer cartons it came in, the bottom is a separate piece, so once you cut all the straps holding it all together, the cardboard just slides right up & off! I was doing it by myself, wondering how I was going to get the fridge out of the box, not wanting to lay it down after having already done the “keep it upright for 24 hours after getting it to allow the refrigerant to settle down properly before turning it on”. This may be an old idea, but it was new to me, & I thought this packaging design was brilliant! The only mystery to me is why the styrofoam piece on the top wasn’t solid; it had 6 rectangular holes—& wouldn’t you know, something that had poked a hole thru both cartons did so right into one of those holes. Fortunately without damaging the fridge. This is as far as I’ve gotten, I’m still waiting for it to cool down so I can put my food in it.
I do want a light though. I hope I don’t have to start with already having to replace the bulb—which looks like will require left-handed screw-drivering. I thought maybe it was just something that’s done for shipping, that I have to undo—like removing all the tape & foam padding inside that was holding all the shelves in place—but I see nothing on the fridge or in the manual about getting the light to come on when you first get the fridge.
I will also say that the procedure for switching the door to open the other way looks rather complicated. I’m glad I’m happy with it the way it is!. Rebecca S.. Manchester, CT. Sat Mar 20 2021
