This is the quietest range hood I have ever used with an unique design. The installation is straight forward for most with video tutorial online that's readily available. I went with a professional installation. This range hood is rated at 1100cfm and the unique design has worked very well. My home no longer smells even when I deep fry. I did two modifications for my installation. I went with a Zephyr 6"-8" duct increaser. The reason I did this is because the range hood is rated over 1000cfm. This might not be necessary but it's a choice I made for myself because of the rated CFM. My installation required a 4" spacer piece. I used 6" 10-32 fine thread screws to secure my upper cabinet to the range hood to make up the 4" spacer difference. This is not necessary according to Fotile but I went the extra mile for $13 more in screws, bolts, and washers. So far I am very satisfied with how quiet and powerful it is. Out of the box, this griddle will NOT fit a Prestige 450, but I found it was easily altered to fit. As it is designed to fit the larger surface area of a Prestige 500, the rear spacer needs 1/4” cut off each side, and a small notch cut (see attached photos). The griddle is also too large front to back, but a couple of self-tapping screws along the back edge and inside the front lip of the barbecue prevent any movement. This griddle is really well made. Being stainless steel, there’s no seasoning needed - just clean with water after use to steam clean any food residue off. We have had a difficult time finding a shower door for our shower and this unit was a perfect fit for what we needed. The directions were clear and easy to follow, and installation was easy. We did have to cut the top support bar with a scroll saw, but everything went fine. The color was exactly as seen, and is much like a dark espresso color. The delivery drivers were extremely courteous, wonderful, and careful with the product, too! The door opening was smaller than what we had before, but wide enough where you do not feel it is too small when entering or exiting the shower. The door closes smoothly and we could not be happier with the product. We found we needed extra caulking at the base on the inside of the shower after installation, but the fix did the trick.
