A decent product, the only thing i would suggest is using a clumping style of litter. It doesn't do an amazing job sifting the clean litter from the dirty if it's not clumped enough. I love how open it is. I kind of wish this one came with the step. Im not sure if the cats would use it, though. I already have one, and it has the front opening. My cats are both good size. This ones a little bit easier. I think for cats to go in and out of. Im not sure how long the bottom piece will last as it seems to be more material than hard plastic. I have had this now for about a month and I love it. I plan on getting another one and replacing the other one as they use this one most often. The other is the typical small opening and the waste draw is small and always needs to be adjusted as nothing falls forward and I can't find the right size bags, no company to order supplies from.. It is the perfect size for putting under the litter box. It is almost impossible for the kitten to jump out and not hit the mat. Binx and some cats like to see if they can jump out of the box and miss the mat. As soon as I put it down, he had to use the litter and throw a bunch of litter out of the box. It was easy to sweep most of it up and the hand-held vacuum cleaner did the rest. The only problem I experienced was with the shipment.
