That is the upper tray in the freezer does not stay in and always comes out half way such that it interferes with the bottom tray and one cannot load or remove items easily. Got this GE fridge to replace an old GE Profile that finally died. Loved that fridge! This is level down, due to not wanting to spend so much money. It was delivered today, so not sure about the actual function. Few things though that your engineers or designers should think about. My husband is very handy and decided to hookup the water line himself. Problem is the piece that you have to insert the copper water line to is very short, and initially leaked. Also, on door with water/ice, the shelf maybe should have a well built there to catch dripping water or any excess ice. Just 2 initial thoughts so far. I'm hoping to love this one as much as I did my old one... we'll have to see. Quick update: yes, you need to add a well or lip to ice/water fixture. I went to try out the ice 2 days later, it grinned for at least a minute before actually dispensing ice, then it shot out like a bat. I love this counter depth refrigerator. We received it a few weeks later than originally scheduled, but it was better than not getting it at all. Thanks goodness for Wayfair! I couldn’t order it anywhere without waiting over 5 to 6 months. The inside drawer within the freezer drawer had a small piece broken. But I was able to send a video to the tech and the part was ordered and received. I love the fact that you don’t see fingerprints. This is, by far, the best refrigerator I have ever had. And that’s saying a lot because I’ve had a bunch of them. I went with this bottle because my wonderful dogs had figured out how to get ice and water out of my old refrigerators. This is fantastic. I thought I would miss the convenience but I actually love, the ice and the water pitcher. I’ll refrigerators have to do the basics, store, enough, the easy to clean, make it easy to get to the food… But for some reason this one seems to do it better. Highly recommend. Really Nice. Two drawbacks. 1. you can't close both doors at the same time.. You have to close the right door then the left. 2. The user interface to control temp. lights etc. it so sleek it's hard to understand. I accidentally turned the fridge lights off and can't figure out how to reset them to turn on when you open the doors. Otherwise it's actually a great price.
