Honestly I haven’t had the chance to install this yet but I have several friends that have used these before and it didn’t seem to be difficult. Looks just like the listing. Black hardware with bubble glass - need to wipe with vinegar if glass is cloudy. Easy to install (I recommend threading the wiring through the chain AND the loop/screw at the top before you install the bracket - you’ll need 2 people, but trying to thread the wires through the top screw after it’s installed would be horrible! You’ll definitely want wire cutters/strippers so you can shorten the very generous length, unless your ceiling is 12-15 feet tall! This light fixture is beautiful. Its is heavy and very solid. My husband was able to hang it in about an hour by himself (although it would have been easier with 2 people due to the weight). The 2 temporary bars that allow the fixture to hang while you connect the electric wires was a great idea to make installation easier. I looked everywhere (and for a long time) to find something that was elegant, stately and just right. Most were too ornate, boxy, etc. But, this one had just the right curves at the top to offset the rectangular shape. I really like the amount of lights it has and it lights up my foyer really nicely. There's no glass to clean, and my installer dropped it low enough so that I can change the lightbulbs myself from the second floor without needing a really tall ladder to do it. Really love it!.
